Doña Lupa

A SMALL CASE. A SERIOUSLY BAD ALIBI.

Who ate the lentils?

The lunchbox had its owner’s name on three labels. Someone ate it anyway. Put everyone in their place and find out who.

Read the deduction, step by step
  1. The water cooler places the accountant at row 1, column 3.
  2. In the desks area, only the standing desk is available: marketing goes at row 2, column 4.
  3. The vending machine places the sales rep at row 3, column 2.
  4. Only row 4 and column 1 remain, so the lunchbox is at the coffee machine.
  5. The sales rep and the lunchbox are together in the break area. That identifies the culprit.
